What happens to your questionnaire?
Your questionnaire is returned to the local census field office. A check is done to make sure it has been filled in before forwarding it to our data processing centre. The data will be processed, analysed and then presented as anonymised (personal details removed) statistics.
These statistics ultimately benefit you and your family by providing information for the funding of public services that we all need, such as education, transport and healthcare.
Access to personal census information is strictly controlled.
