The General Register Office for Scotland (GROS) is working with the census offices for England, Wales and Northern Ireland to conduct the census on Sunday 27 March 2011 and to provide comparable census results.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) organises the census for England and Wales. In Northern Ireland it is Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA).
