English and Gaelic

The questionnaire is available online in English and Gaelic and can be completed in either language.

Paper questionnaires are only available, and must be completed, in English.

British Sign Language (BSL)

If you have a hearing impairment you can access British Sign Language (BSL) video clips which translate the census questions.

Other Languages

If your first language is not English, a range of services are available to help you to complete the questionnaire in English, either online or on paper.
